Rustam
Hello, Vehicle: Subaru Impreza WRX STI 04 (JDM) I want to activate gear shift control. ECU: Link G4+ plug-in ver.7-9 Would you please tell which pin in responsible for clutch switch? And what DI input I need to use and how it should be tuned correctly? Thank you. Adamw
There is no clutch switch connected to the ecu n a V7-9 as far as I know. You will have to wire one yourself. You can use any spare DI.
Rustam
As far as I know stock ECU is able to activate this function and at the same time it does not need to add any additional wires. So, as I understand it, if I have LINK plug-in, it should be also able to do this. Or not?
Adamw
Tell me which ecu pin your clutch switch is connected to and I will confirm if it is connected to anything in the Link ecu. The factory service manual I have does not show any clutch switch - at least in the ecu wiring.
Rustam
So. We do have clutch switch, it is actually used for starting, but it is not connected to ECU. And for stock ECU it is also needed to use additional wire to implement this function. Adam, you were absolutely right. Thanks.
