Sergio Martínez Guijarro
Hello, I have recently a G4+ XTREME in my car and I have added two new sensors to my engine, fuel pressure and oil temperature. I would like to power these sensors with the +5V ECU uses to the TPS and MAP, so I was thinking about branching this cable. I dont know if this is a good practise or it is not going to work properly. I wouldn't like to break the +5V pin because of the extra consumption (each sensor have a current consumption of less than 7.5 mA) or , thats why i prefer to be sure before doing this. Thank you very much in advance.
Adamw
The 5V supply is rated for 400mA at its specified accuracy. So typically enough for 30-50 sensors. Simon and Sergio Martínez Guijarro
