azmak Posted June 11, 2021 Report Share Posted June 11, 2021 Nissan Skyline BNR32. LINK plug-in and MXS1.2 Strada. Obtained from LR wheel speed sensor. Speed is displayed on PC-LINK. Adamw Posted June 12, 2021 Report Share Posted June 12, 2021 LR should be speed 2 in RS3. Unstable speed in old nissans is pretty common, two causes. Sometimes it is the contacts in the reed switch in the back of the speedo getting worn. Pretty easy to replace it DIY if you have basic mechanical skills. This is the part I have used locally: https://www.jaycar.co.nz/miniature-glass-reed-switch/p/SM1002 The other common issue is the speedo cable gets a kink in it which makes it kind of flick around suddenly as it turns rather than spinning in a smooth motion.
