don17
Just looking for some guidance on a base map for the car. In a week or 2 I will be installing x6 2jzgte VVTI coils on my NA-T . It's 2jzge-t currently with a distributor, has single turbo I will be using cam sensor trigger kit and Gte oil pump with crank sensor with 2JZGTE crank gear, latest-edit.pclr
Adamw
The only thing you will need to change is set ignition mode to direct spark. The current trigger settings will work as they are, you will just need to set base timing again.
don17
I haven't installed crank sensor yet and I want to remove distributor completely, won't I need to re setup the triggers? Also what pin can I use as sensor ground for crank ground

The GTE has a 12T crank wheel and a single tooth on the cam. Your distributor has 24T on the cam (which is the same as 12 on the crank). So the basic set up can stay the same. The trig 2 settings may change depending if your new cam sensor is hall effect or reluctor but that is all. 3 hours ago, don17 said: Also what pin can I use as sensor ground for crank ground What ecu do you have?
