Warchild Posted October 15, 2021 Report Posted October 15, 2021 Good day .... kindly confirm correct "install and configure" for this sensor Once physically installed, we connect it on an available AN port on the ecu right? Then, in the ecu, we go to "Analogue Inputs" and then select for instance AN1 Temp 1 where it is connected. Then under sensor type do we select "Link NTC1-8 & IAT1-8" or do we select "Link NTC12 & IATB" ?? Many thanks as always Quote
Adamw Posted October 15, 2021 Report Posted October 15, 2021 Connect 1 pin to an AN Temp input and the other to sensor ground. Use calibration NTC1-8 & IAT1-8 Warchild 1 Quote
Warchild Posted October 15, 2021 Author Report Posted October 15, 2021 Adam, kindly confirm, the CAN LAMBDA goes on the grey circled plug and the IAT goes on the yellow circled plug ? One one of the volt 6-9 pins ? Quote
Adamw Posted October 16, 2021 Report Posted October 16, 2021 IAT should go to Temp 4 on the left hand expansion plug. Lambda goes to the grey circled one. Warchild 1 Quote
Warchild Posted October 16, 2021 Author Report Posted October 16, 2021 Thanks, also fixed now. One thing extra I had to do was to set up the low and high voltage values, as both was 0.00V. Made the high value 5.0 V and sensor came online Quote

I have my IAT wired to a temp 4 and wires are getting 5 volts and iat sensor itself is showing 4.7 k ohms . So would that external resistor fix that problem? And be able to get a reading? It keeps saying fault not sure why. Quote
Adamw Posted November 9, 2024 Report Posted November 9, 2024 No, AN Temp 4 has a built-in pull-up. 4.7Kohm would be correct if your ambient temp is about 15°C. What voltage is AN Temp 4 reporting in the software? What error is being reported. Quote
