my question is: is it possible to connect to my ecu in any other way?

is it possible fixing it at a computer store ?

and how long would it take shipping it from UAE to NZ and back

cuz I have a speed event in a week, I believe my usb chip is gone bad and I can’t send it to NZ at the moment I’m running out of time pls help

Thank you

best regards

Yeah I would be suspicious there is a hardware problem in this case, I don’t remember seeing this type of error message before.  It would be a good idea to try plugging in to another pc however, just in case it is a windows issue.  What ecu do you have?  Some of the G4+ ecu’s can be tuned with a serial port connection - you would need a usb to serial adapter tho and probably make your own cable

Sorry I cant really see the wiring connection well enough.  Do you have 3 wires connected?  And the connection is to the CAN1/RS232 port on the bottom PCB?

Are you using a USB > serial adapter?  Can you give us a picture of the windows device manager Com port section.
