honeywell gt 101 sensor

Recommended Posts

Having it shielded is nice but not a must for that application. It would be recommended if you know it is going to be run close to something noisy like a CDI unit.

You will need to use the 8V out, Sensor ground and the signal back to a Di.

Hi Steve,

I see what you mean about the HELP file stating that Honeywell GT101 sensors aren't recommended for trigger sensors.

However I can assure you I have used plenty of HALL EFFECT GT101' s with ViPEC installations with out any issues.

MAG RELUCTOR sensors are actually more the preferred by many tuners/installers.

But I haven't had any issues with either.
