shrug
If I matched the trigger pattern could it be used on a 4 cylinder? Or does it fire ignition odd for rotary?
shrug
Surely someone that’s works at link knows how the firing works on a g1 rotary ecu and if it’ll work on normal piston engines with a matched trigger pattern?
Simon
It will depend on the firmware that the ECU has. If its running D42V5 then it could be converted over to another application relatively easy. If it is on older rotary specific firmware then it would have to have the micro replaced to suit a piston application. Best bet will be a photo of the inside of the ECU to confirm. Sorry about the slow response been away on holiday and no one else knows the G1s
