E-Pedal potentiometer OBP

Surely a 5v supply to this as with the penny gauges???
Though I’ve just bench tested it with 0-5v and it’s signalled only in mV not even up to a 1.00V

surely it needs a regulated supply?? Not a 12v to bring the signal voltage up??

Maybe use the +8v reference out???

Help

According to their website it is just a standard potentiometer, it will output 0V at one end and supply voltage at the other end.  Since the ecu analog inputs can only measure 5V you should use a 5V supply.

Thankyou Adam:)

I have tested it’s output on a 5v supply and it only varies from 0volt to 0.34volts

do you think this will be sufficient for my e pedal inputs to my Ecu as I was thinking they’d be closer to 0v to 3.5v??
