Tiedchardshark
Dear Sir/madams, I now have a weird problem that my engine runs on 1 cylinder way way too rich. I checked my wire loom since I have build that from scratch everything is okay. did a ignition/injector test and they all worked. 02 sensor is calibrated I have innovative lc2. did compression and that's 9 bar so its fine Now my question is can it be the ecu that is getting bad or is it the tune/base map that way out of line. or am i overlooking something? With kind regards
Adamw
Is it a new install or has it previously been running ok and now isn't? Can you attach a short log of it running or a start attempt and a copy of your tune.
Tiedchardshark
I will make a short log tomorrow and the ecu I bought it as new but the dealer said it said that it was in his warehouse a while. the tune I have on my car now is in the attachments the log will follow. What I was trying to ask with my question was if the car has previously ran correctly with this ecu? A log is the next step. I have a vague recollection that there is a 1G model that has the trigger signal inverted that could explain the symptom. A trigger scope capture when cranking would be useful also. Tiedchardshark
Test.llgx I made a log today i hope you can see something from it. and yes the car ran okay ish before it (it needed a base tune) I also checked again the base timing and its on 5 btdc as the eclipse manual says. Adamw
Your MAP sensor is not seeing any vacuum, do you have it connected to the manifold?
Vaughan
Your manifold pressure in the log is showing as 100kPa despite being at idle, inspect all Vacuum lines from the MAP sensor to the manifold to make sure it is hooked up correctly. Tiedchardshark
I now hooked up the onboard map sensor on an volt 3 its a 4 bar sensor. when I opened the throttle body there was a change as seen in the new log. my lc2 sensor is still giving me 7.5 afr which i find wierd i already calibrated it and bought a new sensor for it also the injector duty cycle is like 2.7% but there is pure gasoline comming out of my exhaust. test 2 is with a gm 4 bar style sensor on an volt 2 (look at around the end) test after map calibration.llgx test after map calibration with the gm 4 bar.llgx
Adamw
Your MAP is not working in the first log but it is in the second one. I suspect the wideband isn't working as it shows 0V on AN Volt 4 in both logs. But you should now be able to get it running better by adjusting the master fuel now.
