Hello guys @ the forum. Can any one verify this. link g4+ thunder running a ls1 5.7l trigger offset at 0deg .there is where i have made q pointer on TDC when the engine was apart.now I have swap to 5.3l ls when i when to fire up no trigger .i had to change the the trigger setup for the 5.3l and i did not chance the trigger offset its still at 0deg engine crank good and fire up good this engine i dont have pointer on to look at the static timming when lock.any buddy can confirm if the trigger offset is 0deg for both engine 5.7l vs 5.3l.

You really need to confirm for yourself, it will be close to zero but these have quite a range of tolerance from factory.  I have seen 5 or 6 degs difference in trigger offset between 2 engines.  

You dont need to go as far as making a pointer etc, I just turn the engine to TDC and paint a temporary mark with a white pen.
