RX7 injector resistor

Hi All,

Question on the using resistors for low impedance injectors?

I'm running a pair of high impedance injectors for the primary and low for the secondary. I've added a pair on resistors to the low impedance injector only.

Now I'm having a problem with fueling. The primary would just cut as soon as the secondary comes in. I would like to confirm that's the reason for the issue.

I'm using 10 ohms btw.

File and log attached

Thanks

Kevin

A 10 ohm resistor doesnt sound correct.  The help file says to use a 2.2ohm if the injectors are less than 2ohm, or a 4.7ohm if the injectors are between 2-6ohm.

But that will not cause any "cut".  Your log also doesnt show primaries being cut, obviously their PW will drop a lot because your staging table is telling the ecu that you want to deliver 70% of the fuel through the secondary injectors.

Your short PW adder table looks wrong for the secondary injec tors also.

Thank you, Adam, Just to be clear, the resistors that are wired to the low impedance injectors will not affect the high impedance ones as they are on the same power source?

The pulse addition in the chart below is what I used for the short pulse width adder.

I'm still having an issue with low ms on the sec injectors.

The injector sheet 2 post above states min pw should be set to 1.3.

When the staging 56% the secondary are not on, no pw.  When it get to 62% the secondary pw is only .7.

Files attached.
