Cam sensor for Nissan FJ20 engine

I'd like to ask what is the best way to make a cam sensor ("sync") input on the Nissan FJ20 engine?

Any one done it? If so please can you post some pictures?

I'm running this engine on the stock distributor and a 36-1 crank wheel... Would like to add a cam sensor to use Coil On Plug ignition, what are your thoughts?

I would suggest a modified disk to fit the factory distributor with only a single cut out so it only pulses once per 2 turns of the crank.
