Trouble with Nissan CAS signal when cranking

HI There, I have a turbocharged Nissan KA24 DE engine, run with my Link V4 with nissan sub-board. I find that to be able to start and get a CAS signal I need to set the sensitivity low (around 5 on trim-pot), and it will not run properly at higher revs, until the sensitivity is changed to around 8. I've seperated the ign wires, kept them very tidy, ensured the earths are all good, swapped the starter motor and also the CAS unit, but have no luck so far. The engine runs really well but having to constantly switch the settings is becoming a pain. I used to run my CA18det with the Link beforehand and had no problems like this, was really wondering if you might have any ideas/ hints ? Thanks for any help :) Dan

The way to set the trim pot is to go to the highest setting the engine will start on. What it is doing is setting the widest slot. This will remain the same regardless of engine speed.
