Monsterbishi
Long story short, we bought a 1991 1.6L MX5 because it was really cheap, then Links June special meant we bought a MX5Link G4+ plugin, because it was really cheap, now I'm putting the two together. The factory TPS needs to be replaced as it's non-variable, the OEM one has two feeds, +5v and +12v which are fed to the ECU at Idle and WOT respectively.Am I correct in thinking that the +12v is now redundant?, also the idle switch on the variable TPS I'm using as the TPS uses AN Volt 1 which is strictly a 0-5v input? Adamw
Yes you don't need the 12v or the idle switch, all you want is a single 0-5v signal.
