Shedley
Is it possible to save a locked ecu map, and restore the ecu to factory settings. But if necessary to reload the lovked map back in the ecu?
Steve
No. If you could do that there would be no point in passwordprotecting the ecu.Only thing you can do is resetting it and start over.
Simon
This can be done. The locked map only hides the set up and tune information.
Shedley
This can be done. The locked map only hides the set up and tune information. So let's say, you save the initial locked map, you reset the ecu and map it again. But customer does like the initial tune the most, then you can put it back in the ecu an it will work as before ? Steve
Simon. To clarify this. You are saying you can SAVE the locked map and load it back in later if needed. But can you READ it?
Simon
Yes it can be saved and loaded back in but you can not read the figures or settings.
