Monsterbishi Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 I'm just finishing the prep to install a MX5Link G4+ into a 1.6 NA MX5 of ours, I see on the PCB is a open jumper labelled 'MX5 1800' - Does anyone know what the purpose of this jumper is?I'm not after any replies that say 'You have a 1600 so don't worry about it' as I have configured my harness to use aspects from both the 1600 and 1800 systems and if closing the jumper enables those things, it'd be handy to know. :-) Quote
Adamw Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 It is a pull up that is needed for the IGF signal on the 1800. With the jumper on, ECU pin 9 is pulled up to 12V, with the jumper off that pin is not connected to anything. Quote
