kimdrummel
Hi!Can anyone here provide info on whether the G4 Extreme supports the VW Quickstart Camsync pattern?I am currently working on a VW R32 VR6 engine and the goal is to run variable valve timing on both the intake and the exhaust cam. Also fully sequential fuel and spark. Here's a picture of what the camsync pattern looks like. I've heard that the latest firmware for the G4 should support this pattern? Simon
Yes it is possible to use this but only 1/2 of it combined with a crank trigger (60-2)The MK5 golf sample file in the PC link base maps folder is set up this way.
kvkv01
Hi Simon! I Can't seem to find the Golf MK5 base map anywhere? Is there any way to retrieve it from you? I'm also interested in the VVT control for the MK5 engine with Link G4 Xtreme ECU. Thanks in advance Max
Adamw
Do you have an old red G4 extreme?
kvkv01
Yes, i sure do. I think it's from 2012 or 2013. I think I've figured it out now using the Holden V6 VVT pattern. I'll get back in touch if i run into more problems. Thank you!
