phantomgvr4
Hello everyone. New to link here. Just got it installed in my 92 galant vr4. Everything is working great except for I cannot get link to recognize my boost soliniod. I have the same 3 port turbosmart soliniod that comes with the eboost2 package. I know one wire I run to the ground on the expansion loom. What input do I run the other too. Might it be better to track down the stock soliniod pin? Thanks

GregM
Stock Solenoid pin it should be connected to.
Adamw
9 minutes ago, GregM said: Stock Solenoid pin it should be connected to. Correct, it should have a stock solenoid in that car, usually you would just connect the new solenoid to the wires for the original valve. 5 hours ago, phantomgvr4 said: I know one wire I run to the ground on the expansion loom. What input do I run the other too. Wrong. One side goes to a switched +12V source. The other goes to an aux output. There are no aux outputs available on the expansion connector on that ECU, so you should connect it to aux 1/Pin 105. Adturb

phantomgvr4
Ok. I got the ebc wired in and functioning. Next step is wideband. Its wired in the same way I had it with ecmlink but I can get it to work with linkecu. Trying to do the quick tune because it is way rich at idle

The first place to start is to adjust the over-all fueling so it is close, use the master fuel to do this (click on master fuel, then page down key). If you need to change a more specific region than that then you can select a few cells in the main fuel table around where it idles and again bump these up or down with the pg up/pg dn. 8 hours ago, phantomgvr4 said: Its wired in the same way I had it with ecmlink Can you be more specific. Adamw
Pin 4 is AN Volt 4. Set AN Volt 4 to "Lambda 1" set the calibration and check the error low and error high values are ok. If still no go please attach your map and log.
phantomgvr4
Ok I have I have everything hooked up correctly and got my idle dialed in. Now my issue is when I let of the clutch completely and use lighter throttle the car is extremely jerky. Use heavy throttle and it runs like a champ. Thoughts? motomattx
Just went through the same stuff setting mine up, the first few cells are likely too lean. Turn the ve map tracing on so you can see what cells are being used when its acting up and then richen those areas up a handful of cells at a time until the afr shows what your fuel map is targeting, I'm certainly not new to tuning having a 980 hp 2.0 litre 4g63 but I'm new to linkecu. phantomgvr4
Ok I will give that a try Will it do the same if it's running rich? Are you running e85?
motomattx
I do run E85, and popping and jerking are usually a lean problem on E, you would have to run pretty rich to cause that behavior, but even so if richening it makes it worse simply go the other way with it until it cleans up. phantomgvr4
One step at a time. Slowly getting there. I worked over my table a bit and can now get a smooth rev sitting on neutral. But I put it in gear and release the clutch I go full lean. I wonder how close our setups are? Got a snapshot of your map I could look at? motomattx
What mode are you running it in?
phantomgvr4
Sequential injection and modelled fuel I believe. I'd have to double check. I'm messing with it now and it's more when I goose the throttle it goes lean. If I ease into it its fine
motomattx
It sounds like you might need to adjust either the injector latency/dead time (how sure are you that you have this right?) or the response fuel.
phantomgvr4
I haven't messed with either of them. I will give that a shot and see what happens. When you say response fuel is that accel enrichment?
motomattx
Yes accel enrichment.
phantomgvr4
I'm to the point now where it's running great except when I start to build boost. No amount of fuel I add corrects it. Wondering if I should try a mbc and see what happens

phantomgvr4
here is a log. ive gotten a lot sorted out. really the only issue im having now is under light throttle(maintaining speed) it seems to go rich. thanks Log 2018-08-18 12;22;38 pm.llg
