  1. Race Technology sent me a 'link dash configuration file' I've got battery volts and ect Reading but revs nor oil pressure will read. What am I doing wrong here? The main 2 things I need and neither will read
  2. I'll need to order a female to female db9 lead then. i've done as stated in the instructions but under streams do i need to put stuff in or will it transmit automatically?
  3. To bump this up, got a pre config link can interface direct from Race Technology and have just installed it. I can't seem to get anything to read on the dash though? Am I doing something stupid here? Any help be great thanks
  4. Thanks for having a look Adam, greatly appreciated. No the power issue wasn't present in this log, typically it went away when I went to get a log of it! I will get a triggerscope later on and send it over to you, is there any way of making the limiter less 'aggressive'? I didn't think it was to bad although its never been great imo, seems link rev limiters are a bit of a black art lol. Id like it to be like a oem limiter.
  5. Apon looking through the contents of pclink for B16/B18 engine it seems my arming threshold values are different to the ones recommended on there, same as filtering for trigger2.
  6. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1pk0ufb19blo6vu/1234.llg?dl=0 let me know if that works please. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ycbr5uvnotvkkdz/2021 new engine.pclr?dl=0 Should be link to map
  7. Hi, got a honda b18c with a G4+ 95 pnp ecu. Getting rpm limit activated and trigger1 errors i'm hoping for help with. I was on a track day last week (circuit) and after coming in for a cool down, went back out and it was like there was no power there, felt strangled and as if half throttle. Couldn't get to the bottom of it so called it a day to not risk blowing the motor, everything seemed fine ignition timing/afr wise. Unfortunately no log of this. Just managed to get in the car and take it for a drive and it's fine now typically but i did log this time and i'm getting trigger1 errors and rpm limit activated (have always had the rpm limit activated tbf) Here is a log and wondering if anyone could possibly look over it and give me some guidance on it please? I'm wondering if my dwell or maybe arming threshold is wrong? Thanks, Seems it wont let me upload the log, any ideas on how i can? says to big and i can only upload a max of 2.47mb
  8. As stated, anyone got a part number for the plug into a plug in ecu? I want to make my own lead like I have done for the expansion port. I was hoping it was the same but just took ecu out to find it isn't! I assume the pins are the same. Anyone know what the plug is? Thanks,
  9. I doubled the pre crank prime which seemed to have help a lot, only tried once though so will carry on trying every day for next week. The first crank enrich is already at 50%, I didnt want to double that to 100%? Seemed excessive but unsure? I left it at 50% for now. Because I've got a switch panel should I change the start input to start position or will this not make a difference?
  10. Thanks for reply Adam I will give that a go. The reason for the start position is because its got a switch panel which turns on the ignition and triggers the starter. Not sure if I can get around the digital input at all? I also usually turn the pump on first before ecu 1&2 powers
  11. Anyone able to give some guidance on a possible solution?
  12. Here is 2 logs of starting it, TPS is because i've got no idle control valve so need revs to keep running until it'll idle on it's own, worse so now it's colder in England. Hope these help start.llg start2.llg
  13. Thanks for reply Adam, in all honesty I'm not sure i thought it would of been sync as it starts fine on the old hondata. I will do a log and send it over tomorrow if that's ok?
  14. Hi, wondering if i could get some help please. Ever since i've owned the link g4+ ecu i've always suffered with slow starting. The ecu is a civic PnP 95 on a B18 engine. On the previous Hondata ecu it would start instantly nearly, on the link it takes ages to turn over before catching, is this something i can sort? I've attached a copy of my map and hopefully a trigger scope (hope i've done it right) It is using the OEM distributor for the cam and crank sensors with K20 COP. Also seem to be really rich on cold start i've noticed too, i have had fuel pressure issues which i have now sorted via replacing the fuel components (pump, filter and regulator) Any help be great thanks would love to get it starting a bit better, sometimes when it won't catch to it'll give the loudest backfire out of the exhaust you've ever heard! If you didn't know it did it you'd think it had blown up! Thanks, Greg 204whptrigger.pclr Trigger Scope Log 2020-12-6 10;40;23 am.llg
  15. Long winded I know but I just copied what I liked from the new over to my existing, had both layouts open and just mirrored basically

    Unhappy

To jump in on this I've always felt the advice and guidance from the team (Adam) to be 2nd to none, I've always had the help and resolutions I've needed and would in turn recommend link to anyone.
  17. Ordered one. Im sure ill be back once installed asking for advice on how to set it up fully lol. Thanks again for your help Adam
  18. No worries thanks again Adam, I was trying to avoid the interface from reading its a bit of a pita to set up for link but if thats the only way then not much I can do about that.
  19. Thanks for reply Adam, would it be best to do it via serial then? What can the ecu transmit over serial to the dash do you know? Thanks
  20. Hi, as title have a civic 95 g4+ pnp ecu, just bought a dash2 and wanting to connect it to the ecu via can if possible? Never done or thought about anything like it before so can it be done? If so how please? Thanks, Greg
  21. I'm going to be running k20 injectors so I should be able to get that data out of the hondata software. I have a fuel pressure sensor but I dont have a fuel temp sensor unfortunately
  22. Hi all, after some help. Currently have a high compression honda b series engine, running dual fuel and ignition tables for low and high cam. I'm about to upgrade injectors and in traditional as it is now needs retuning. Which I'm OK with but I keep seeing about modelled fuel tables over traditional and wondering if this would benefit me in any way and is it a worthwhile switch?? Can anyone outline the pros/cons with both please be much appreciated.
  23. Hi, wanting to use the mixture map settings to tune the part throttle side of the table so its a nice drive as I feel this is a better way than on the dyno. So I'm getting decent data from it can anyone recommend some settings to use so I'm not pissing in the wind? Thanks,
  24. Wondering if someone can help, if the trigger offset is wrong and then corrected how will this effect the igniton table? Say for instance if the trigger offset is 4degrees out does this equate to 4degrees on the ignition table? Thanks
