The car needs tuned, the tune that comes from Link is just to get the car up and running so you can get it to a tuner or tune it yourself, I wouldn't be making boosted pulls with it until its properly tuned.

I'm the tuner, I tuned everywhere  below 0.9 bar and all is good with part throttle and below 0.9bar. Thank you for reply. I will check rrob's adivse to see if its the issue. Might be injector settings but it should be correct at base map.

Fuel pump speed control working correctly?

I checked it now. "Speed Control Method" is off. may be this is the issue. What it should be? Can you help me please.

  2. Hello,  Today I installed Link G4+ plug in ecu to evo 8. With stock evo 8 ecu air fuel ratio is 12-12.5 at 1.3 bar boost but on Link ecu at 0.9 bar after 5500 rpm air fuel ratio goes to lean 13.5-14. Of course I try to adjust it by increase injestor duty cycle but  no result engine runs lean again.  I also canceled the fuel pressure solenoid  and result is same. So with stock ecu 1.3 bar afr is ok but on Link ecu 0.9 bar after 5500 rpm engine goes lean. What it can be the reason, what should I check ?

    Thank you.

There should be two fans set up, one on aux 1 and one on ign 4.  To determine which fan is running, can you try this:

Go to aux 1 settings, change the polarity to high - if the fan turns off then we will look closer at what is causing that.  If the fan keeps running then change aux 1 back to how it was (low) and then go to ign 4 and set that to low.  Let us know if either of those changes switches the fan off.

Hello Adamw, when I change Ignition Drive 4 to low fan switched off. What should I check ?

  4. Hello, I'm newbie in Link world. I bought a g4+ plug in for my evo6. I tuned the car but I couldn't control the engine fan. Engine fan works all the time. Can you advise me what should I do, I think its about wirings ?

The Plugin does have all the ignitions on the A connector, you will need to change the ignition settings to suit (Direct Spark and Falling Edge) plus adjust the dwell times.

Hi, thank you for reply. I found analog outputs after I saw you reply. I'm trying to have a starting map, I changed analog outputs and Ignition Output to "Direct Spark".
Is spark edge should be "Falling" ?

Is Dwell mode should be "Duty Cycle"?

  6. Hello, I'm a tuner and I tuned some link ecu before but all are plug in or already wired from someone. I'm going to tune my firends civic eg with big turbo setup, I advised him to use Link ecu (he has hondata) because of antilag and also I want to cancel oem distributor. Can I wire honda k20 coil to Link plug in ecu or I buy for him a universal Link ecu and custom wire all sensors ? I tuned to many turbo civic on hondata but I'm new at Link and also I don't have too much experience on wirings.
