  1. @Adamw ok right so i need to set the synch tooth to 1 and with the timing light on cyl1 I search the correct trigger offset this is what the ecu need to say what cylinder is in compression stroke and run sequential
  2. @Adamw ok thanks the trigger wheel with single tooth on camshaft is positioned at random. The only check I do is the tooth on trigger 2 don’t pass at the sensor when the trigger 1 missed tooth pass the sensor. how can the ecu say what is the cylinder in intake stroke ??
  3. @Adamw , i have installed a G4X Xtreme ecu on a citroen saxo 1.6 16v stroker with itb. The stock engine have only the trigger 1 and it's 60-2 on there flywheel so I have installed 1 tooth to the intake cam gear with a reluctor sensor (same sensor as the crank) . I do a trigger scope and I see the cam trigger at 13 tooth from the missed on the crank. After this I change the setting and the car don't start with crank angle at 120 °.. I changed the crank angle to -120° and it start very well and fast.. In the next day I do a check with timing light I attach the calibration and the trigger scope... can you do a check?
  4. I'm ready to install a PlugIn Link G4+ in a Toyota Celica St185 , 3S-GTE engine Oem , with Oem Turbo and only downpipe no Kat.. Someone have a Ignition Table Base map for the Oem 3S-GTE?
  5. @Adamw sorry this is attached now.. Internal logging at 1000 Hz it's about 24 tooth as synch tooth ?
  6. @Adamw i have done some test with internal Map sensor fast internal log rate at 1000 Hz and trigger scope for figure out the synch tooth with the internal map level. The internal map sensor is connected to the 4th Cyl The car start pretty fine , there is a ecu loggging and the internal logging.. Can you take a look for see all is fine?
  7. @Adamw , the internal Map of Monsoon X can do it? This can allow me to have fuel sequential but wasted spark?
  8. @Adamw , i have check and the engine have a sport camshaft without the trigger wheel on the exhaust , so the sensor can't read a tooth wheel :-( At this poit i can disable the cam pulse on the trigger 2, or i can try with the Map on the 1° cylinder for the sequential fuel because i have the ITB ? I can use the internal Map on Monsoon x?
  9. @Adamw Yes it is wasted spark , one coil with two channel so now it 's not fuel sequential ?
  10. @Adamw The cam sensor is two wire , blu sensor on the exhaust camshaft Why the cam sensor is not working? The voltage is too low? i take a look at trigger scope and i see the trigger 2 signal to Yes I have try to start the engine and it fire and work at idle very good Do you want a trigger scope with engine at idle for check if the cam sensor work?
  11. @Adamw , finally i have installed the Monsoonx X and i do a trigger scope Attached is the calibration and trigger scope Let me know
  12. Ok thanks for the information about the trigger camshaft wheel, it’s ok a triggger wheel with only one tooth!? I can place the one tooth camshaft in any position or the one tooth need to be in a particular position ( like as 1 cyl intake valve open)?
  13. @Adamw ok, so crank sensor at 90° and the gap at 90° with the engine at TDC 1° cyl?
  14. @Adamw i need to convert a old Nissan Micra 4 cylinder 1300 cc , code CG13de engine carburator to Efi with LinkEcu MonsoonX The engine don't have the crank trigger wheel but have the old distributor for spark signal. I chose a 60-2 tooth wheel and an inductive sensor for the crankshaft. In which position should I install the trigger wheel with the two missing teeth with respect to the TDC? Or any position of it can work and can be calibrated via software?
  15. @Adamw , i'm doing a MoonsonX ecu Wire in to a Westfield with a Ford Zetec SE 1.6 engine ITB, do you have any advice for the crank-cam trigger configuration?
  16. @Adamw, can you tell me your opinion about this? When i set the traction control On, if i don't want to have a Traction control switch i can do it? So , when the traction control is active in the software, the momentary switch is used for disabled them? , if i don't have a switch, the traction control il always On and i can set a large % slip in the table for have it "Off"? I have see the max slip threshold on tabel is 50% The car is a road race circuit time attack, so 50% of max slip threshold is enough for disable them. The choice of two speed sensor for the rear in a FWD car can solve my issue about the very hard corner when the wheel inside the corner lose the contact with the ground? In a turbocharger engine, it's better to have a low ,max retard value and use the fuel cut o ignition cut ? This for prevent damage to turbocharger and manifold..
  17. I'm on planing to active the traction control on my car, but i have two question : My car is a FWD with one sensor in the front axle and one sensor on the rear .. in a few hard corner at the track , one of the rear tyre don't have contact to the ground so the speed from this wheel is near 0. In this condition, when i exit from the corner i do the Wot with full throttle and the traction control cut me the power. Example, rear sensor on the right rear wheel, in the hard corner to right, the right rear wheel go up and slow down speed. If i use two rear speed sensor and set the Non Driven wheel speed source setting as : Max rear speed , the ecu take a look at the max speed on the rear , so it's the tyre to ground and the Traction don't cut the power in corner exit? I have a 12 position trim pot for set the % slip target , but i don't have a Digital input wired as Traction control switch... Can i have the traction control always active and with the Trim pot i change the slip % target from a low value to a high value for disable them? Example, for disable them , at 12 position i use a max value 50%?
  18. @Adamw this is the log requested The error appear without shut off the engine, in this log the engine is off and i only switch off ignition I modify the wiring to E-Throttle Relay with 30 direct to Battery but this not solve the issue, the error appear on PcLink exactly after switched the ignition off. I think is firmware/software related
  19. @Adamw , i start the car and run perfect! I have only an issue, only when i shut down the ignition , the ecu have an error code 84 , Over-Current/Over-Temperature warning from the electronic Throttle Control hardware contained inside the ECU. I have connected the E-Throttle Relay 30 to the Main Rele 30 and the E-Throttle relay 86 to a Ignition Switch signal.
  20. @Adamw great information..i do some PID test in the next day and report back after the first engine start
  21. @Adamw thanks for look and check at the log.. The Actuator at 600 Hz have a noise as whistle... This whistle is the same as when the ecu Oem was fitted... I had measure with the oscilloscope the frequency with Oem ecu and it was 600 Hz... It's better to turn up the frequency until i have no whistle?
  22. @Adamw , the G4X Extreme Wiring to the Caterham is done and i try a few crank for see if the trigger is ok.. The ecu is locked for now, i unlock them tomorrow morning and i don't have connect a few sensor for the sequential box so i have a few analog error I attach the trigger scope log and the calibration..it's fine the trigger scope and setting for the first start? The other log show the Tp error accumulator for the E-throttle setting..any advice?
  23. I have do some check on the Caterham Fuel Pump Wiring and now it's clear.. If i do a direct current 12 V to fuel Pump, i have a 7 bar fuel pressure limited by the internal fuel pressure regulator in the tank. The ecu command by a Pwm Signal the FPDM for have a different fuel pressure in the rail. i don't find on the car a fuel pressure sensor . I do a analisys with my oscilloscope and i found this value in the screenshoot attacked... The Ecu command in fixed duty ever the fuel pump module, i change tps with the pedal, change rpm etc but the value is fixed Can i command this module with a Aux Link?
  24. I have do a few measure at 13,7 Volt Battery I try Some time to do fast 0-100% pedal travel and i don't see more than 3.5A Peak
  25. @Adamw , i have do a Current measure with my Bosch Clamp 30A to the ITB Throttle Motor Wire - , i do a few 0 to 100% pedal travel and a few partial travel movement . I record the Ampere graph , it's look 2.5-2.6 A peak current at 12 Volts Battery , it's fine for the G4X ? I need to measure them with 14 v on the battery?
