  1. Hi.

I've removed DI1 but the issue still persists.

I tried with custom PID and with Default. Same result .. RH Err Count keeps growing.. It seems to be adding a count on the end of the cylcle.

I tried changing the cam offset from 283-290..

I tried chaning the solenoid frequency 200-250-300Hz..

What I did notice is that the LH solenoid output is stable but RH seems to oscilate, also the % duty differs.

Most of the log file contains the logged changes in progress.

Starting with 15:02 file time was when no changes were performed.

Attaching both the map and log file.

    Thanks

  2. Hi.

I've trying to hunt down my avcs/vvti errors.

This is a Subaru Ej257 with Intake Avcs.

I only get the errors on Right Intake. Happens when idling or reving the engine.

    Any pointers ?

    Thanks

    Remi

  3. So..

Changing the ignition didnt help. I've made all the cells the same and still the same thing.

I've made all fuel cells pretty close to each other and nothing as well.

  4. Hi.

I have ID 1000's. I hope I scaled them correctly as there are two different charts.

One is Subaru specific and the other is a general one for ID 1000. (I've believe I've used the general one)

Fuel pressure was set to about 52psi with the vacuum reference hose off.

FYI... I smoothed out the ignition and will try to test it today.

    Thanks

  5. Hi.

I've been trying to hunt down my rpm "stutter" for few weeks now with no luck.

I happens while in 1-2nd gear at around 1500 rpm.

    Attaching map and a log.

    Thanks.

  6. Ok.. Now I am confused.

I've looked at bunch of maps and it varies between 6 and 13Khz

I cant find anywhere where it says if its a second harmonic sensor  or not.

Looking at your knock block manual its supposed to be 6Khz.. (since my engine is USDM 2005 ej257)

Which one really is it ?

    Thanks

Was the engine knocking when you where testing it?  Your sensor being a resonant frequency type only outputs a strong single near frequencies it was designed to detect.  So if it wasnt knocking at the time you where testing it there would have been very little signal coming from the sensor.

    Thank you.

  8. Hi.

I am pretty sure that the knock on my ej257 is supposed to be set to 6Khz (narrowband).

Looking at the math from the manual  Knock Resonant Frequency (Khz) = 1800/(3.14 * piston diameter in mm)

    1800/(3.14*102.5) = 5.59Khz

I went through the knock setup exercise in this post..

While the car was stationary  I was holding throttle at ~2000rpm and changing through 4-16Khz setting  in the Freq Channel.  (my gain is 5)

There was no significant change in the knock reading between all of them.

    Always ranging from 30-80.

What gives or what am I doing wrong.

I've done pulls and I've seen higher reading when on boost though.

Attaching my log and map file.

    Thanks

    Remi
