  1. Here is what I noticed.

Your accel enrichment is kicking in at very low TP delta.

Increase your deadband so it stops from happening.

Your TP seems to be relatively stable at idle where the accel is not kicking in.

Start with 0.8 % and see if that helps..

  2. Your rpm ignition cut could have been caused by the Trig 1 error.

You could try lowering the voltage for "Trigger 1 Arming Threshold Table"  at 4-7K rpm from 5V to say 3V and see if things improve and errors go away.

  3. I found out that recording the audio works much better.

Old link manual has a step-by-step procedure how to graph the knock and focus on the areas of interest.

    http://www.enginelogics.com/wp-content/uploads/pdf/knockblock.pdf (Staring section 3.2.2)

You might want to play around with frequency filters and speeds once you have a sample.

I had audio split, feeding the Link software and the NCH software but I cant really distinguish the knock by just looking at the Link graph.

So  now I just record and analyze in NCH only.

  4. Any reason why my gear info would dissapear while driving?

Gear ratio Calc does show a value, table is configured but it doesnt seem to register.

Logged Value Crosshair dissapears as well.

Its not gear related as 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th seem to dissapear.

    Thanks

    Remi

  5. Hi.

Fix your ignition so it doesnt jump from 32 to -2 deg during idle.

Next increase your idle base position table at lower ECT you have 335 at 70C and it idles ok, yet you have 300 when it stumbles.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Hi.

I've been fiddling with my maps for 9+ months, learning all the tiny bits here and there.

One of my bigger struggles is finding a correctly tuned map with a log to back it up.

I've downloaded a bit less than 100 maps off this site studying them and guessing which parameters are correct.

Problem is I dont really know what a correct pull looks like. My guess is that the AFR going rich once the throttle plate is closed is normal.. is the fuel dip at 3000 rpm a normal occurence ???  and so on .. and so on..

What I ask for is for you guys (and gals) to post maps and logs that you think are correctly tuned.  (pulls and rolls)

While lots of variables will be engine specific, it will still give us (beginners) a better understanding of the overall picture. It will answer those little questions that you dont bother to ask.

This will lead to people asking less questions as there will be a lot of answers in a correctly mapped files.

Next thing would be creating How-to's section.

Scaling sensors, knock setup, sensor testing would all go in there.

I really like the support you guys provide, responsiveness and I feel we can take this forum to a next level.

    Adam, Simon ?? Anyone ?

    Thanks

    Remi

  7. Hi.

Is there a way to manually calculate the Gear Ratio Table from logged data ?

As I am street tuning the car by myself.

I've read that "Gear Ratio = Engine Speed (RPM) / Speed sensor frequency (Hz)". Is that correct ? and if so which value is used.. as the frequency has a range in perticular gear.

    Thank you

    Remi
