orange EP got a reaction from atlex in I have a question about setting up LINK at high altitudes.
    Hi
I plan to challenge the PikesPeak International HillClimb.
4000m test is not possible in Japan.
I'm worried about the low air pressure at Pikes Peak and the fuel going out of control.
What settings do I need to do in link to climb 4000 meters?
Are there any countermeasures against this?
    My link settings are below.
    Fuel Equation Mode >> Traditional
    Equation Loasd Source >> Load=MAP
Fuel Table Load Axis >> MGP

I checked and set the "Equation Load Source" in the manual.
(In order to get Barometric Pressure Correction into the fuel calculation in this mode, the Fuel Table Load Axis should be set to MGP.)

    thanks.

The trigger scopes both look ok.  I noticed in your map the trigger offset is still set to zero.  Have you checked ignition timing with a timing light?  With a distributor if the rotor phasing isnt correct the spark can jump to something inside the distributor rather than jumping to the correct post and this will cause an error.

Start by doing at trigger scope at 2000 & 3000RPM.
ECU Controls>Trigger scope.  Hold engine at 2000 then click capture.  Save the file.  Hold engine at 3000, click capture, save file.
Attach those 2 files and a copy of your tune.

Since your engine has a trigger capable of 720deg sync, the ecu always know which cylinder is firing - even with a distributor.  So It checks for knock in the knock window for each cylinder after the cylinder has just fired.  If it hears knock in the knock window for cyl 2 after cylinder 2 just fired then it knows that the knock came from cyl 2.  Placement of the sensor doesnt matter, it will hear knock from all cylinders.

If you have set the injection mode set to sequential and depending on trigger mode selected, the ECU has reference which cylinder is firing ignition. The knock window will be for each cylinder that is firing for each cycle.

Post a copy of your tune file (*.pclx).
