  1. There is a issue if you have fuel pressure selected as an input. If this is the cas you can set the input to a general 0-5V and the wideband 02 control will then work.

We have a fix sorted and will be in the next firmware release.

  2. If you wish to retain sequential staging you will need to use the V88 (Has 8 injector drives)

On the V44 you could run group staged. This would drive the primary injectors off drives 1-2 and the secondary injectors off drives 3-4. (two injectors per drive).

  3. IAT reading high will actually remove fuel. (this is a minor trim and should effect the initial start up)

Haven't seen it on v3-4 before but on the v5-6 Subaru some of the late cars did run the later V7-9 type map sensors.

If it reads correct at atmosphere then you will have the correct sensor.

I suspect the biggest thing you are going to need to do is lower the master fuel number.

Are you running stock injectors ?

  4. It was for the BMW V10 up until it was discovered the engine was odd fire.

We have a customer that is investigating using two ECU's on the V8 currently to allow 4 cams to be controlled.

We will find out more as they progress. To date I don't think any one has done it.

  5. The way to tell is to see when the ECU shows RPM. As soon as it see RPM then it should be trying to fire.

If it is taking a long time to get triggers then it will take a long time to start.

If however it sees triggers and RPM quickly and doesn't fire then we are looking for another issue.

Also if you are using a stepper motor for idle control it might be due to a key on lockout while the stepper resets.

  6. In the trigger cables you have a ground in each cable one of these can be used to ground the sensor.

The 12V for the sensor can come from a switched supply such as the ECU's 12V

Trig one and two will be identified in the pinout for the Storm and a continuity check will confirm the correct wire at the end of the screened cable.

  7. We can only do control for 2 Vanos solenoids due to their push pull nature (2 drives per solenoid)

On the V88 only drives 1-4 can be used for this function.

V88 is also only geared for a single E throttle.

  8. Hi Nigel

The 0-5 could be used as an input to the ECU but is not as effective as using windowed knock using the Vi-pec interface.

For pricing you will need to contact your nearest dealer.

  9. I suspect the main relay is not turning on. Coils and Injectors will also have no power to them.

The fuel pump could run if the ECU is not powered but the pump has power. This can happen through a back feed.

Way to tell if our ECU is powering up is to see if there is a green LED lighting up on the board. (does require lid off the ecu case)
