  1. Hi Kevin The pinout is as close as it can get to being the same the only differences are around the pins required for the onboard wideband. It would be a relatively simple task to adapt a boomslang harness across. Yes the Fury is fully unlocked.

    Map sensor

GC8 sensor is normally good to 18psi the later normally found on the V7-9 sensors are good for 25psi Â
  4. Next step will be to Scope the trigger at the ECU end to see how good the signal is.
  5. I think the best solution is to get a correct tooth pattern on the CAM. A single tooth is not going to work very well if at all for cam control. You can try by setting the triggering to multi tooth missing and sync to cam 1X this will at least let the motor run. The issue is then around the cam control and a single tooth is very poor at giving an accurate cam position. The user defined option is the only possibility but I don't know if this will be happy with all 0 in the table.

    MAF usage

The reality is there isn't much point.
  7. ECU wise the RPM can be locked out for the following conditions. ECU not unlocked ECU hold power active Dual ECU active Anti theft active Battery voltage above limit And of course bad crank / cam signals.

    MAF usage

Hi Justin Although there is the ability to bring MAF into the ECU it is really designed to operate off MAP. Hence there is minimal MAF support.
  9. There is some ability for this already on the G4+ range but the input stream would need to be configured.

    Mazda renesis

In the log the TPS is moving enough to cause acceleration enrichment to activate. This will cause the mixtures to go really rich. I would be checking the grounds to the TPS and the actual TPS sensor. I suspect the plugs might have fouled which will be causing the bad running now.
  11. Yep this is correct. Is there a reason you would want it to be adjustable?
  12. No problem to use this firmware. It was released to support the new G4+ Fury. However it is totally useable on the i Series range also.

    Anti lag on Evo

You can find it in the PCLink help file with version 5.4.0PCLink

    Anti lag on Evo

Using a GP out put would be the go in this case. As you are correct that the air bypass would be on all the time while anti lag is active.
  15. You would be looking at around $380+gst for the chip change to suit the single butterfly.
  16. First thing to check is that you are getting an RPM signal to the ECU. You will need to connect up to the ECU with a PC to check this and go to the runtimes menu (F12) or (r key)Â Â
  17. No as the ECU / Micro is fully maxed out there just isn't the room to keep adding features.
  18. I think that could work. The risk is that if it gets a trigger error off the crank then it will not correct itself. Using the MAP signal is how a lot of current factory motorbike systems do it.
  19. RPM reading is mostly off the crank signal. (Trigger 1) It could be an indicator of trigger issues from another area. Such as electrical noise, Checking the coils leads and plugs ok and the plugs are resistive. Â
  20. You will find the RPM limit in the limits menu. Its as simple as picking the limit RPM for a given engine temp. You can chose to limit fuel or ignition.
  21. If the sensor fails while the engine is running it will continue to run on just the crank signal. However it will not restart once stopped.
  22. Hi Sam The C on the end of the firmware version is the tell tail. In this case the unit is not PC compatiable It needs to be a Q R S or T to be PC tunable. Of note this is a GTR specific firmware so is geared to only really work with multi butterfly applications. For the MAP sensor the ECU is looking for a 0-5V signal you can pick up a 5V supply from the TPS supply.
  23. The Knock sensor is a bit like a microphone listening to the noise of the engine. Knock is normally a massive spike in the noise. The G4+ Storm is able to take one knock signal in  as an upgrade option.
  24. Hi Melvin The idea is to make the engine as efficient as you can. If you were to fully use this function you would move the injection timing around to get the richest mixture and then lean up the fuel map to suit. For the table option you would use RPM and load much like a fuel or ignition map.
  25. Hi Walter You would need two of those to allow 4 coils. If you run two coils from the 1 igniter channel the spark is very week due to the halved current to each coil. Â
