    Injector Timing

I am more familiar with using End of Injection, when I try to use that on a G4x it tells me if I plan to use a Fuel Cut in Seq. mode I should use Start of Injection. Just wanted to understand why that is. Thanks
  2. I agree, all inside of 1 box is nice but if you get a CAN controller it has some minor advantages and isn't much wiring... and with the Extreme you gain a couple inputs as well.
  3. If you want the new X-series I'd do the Xtreme and use a separate WB controller (CAN or Analog) what kind of car? whats it being used for?
  4. post the current map and let me look at your idle control stuff with the things you have changed... include log if you can
  5. if you look at your effective PW... it is quite low between .7 - .9ms you could simply be lower than the injector can function and you are definitely in a non-linear range of any injector. what injectors are you using? and do you have the deadtimes, short pulsewidth adder correct? what fuel pressure are you running? I don't see it in the log so I assume no sensor. you could also add a minimum fuel injector PW and that might fix it, but you might not be able to hit that lean of an AFR at idle.
  6. I would try running vacuum to the internal MAP and seeing what it reads
  7. I think if you tuned in traditional fuel equation mode then it would work the way you are asking about

@Kanjo` yes applies to N/A and Turbo alike

Remsk2, you should look into setting up charge temp table, for IAT sensors that are mounted in the intake manifold it creates a bias that you can setup for ignoring IAT temps under certain circumstances. for ex. low rpm / idle you can have the table only watch ECT and once the rpms pick up and load comes up it can bias the other way. hope that helps
  10. I think your correct in assuming it is a Crank or Cam sensor issue. I have had common failures with EVO cam sensors.

Remski2, before you made the 3d table was it causing most of the problems at idle and low speeds?
  12. good to know, thanks Adam... I think I experienced this once already with a Motec M400 box... had to switch up the cam wiring but never really understood why it was different
  13. Thank you Vaughan, much appreciated
  14. Is it supported? will it be? Thanks Jon
