Old thread bump
I need to copy Scott’s additional Eccs relay diagram for r32 gtr he posted Above,
Can anyone make it abit clearer for us dummies and label it please with PIN numbers
that would be SO greatly appreciated
thanks
-
Hmmm ok thanks
that’s correct the Vipec v88 was using a spare ignition drive
about half way down, Scott said to do what you recommended and use an additional relay,
so we are on the right track !
but I’m finding it hard to read his relay diagram which pins go where (hasn’t included eccs relay PIN numbers and I’m not Very familiar with Reading relays diagrams without them)
if you are more familiar with them and could help me out that would be awesome
-
Not sure honestly
I know with my previous Vioec V88 I never had an issue with this
now got a custom milspec plug and play harness from r32 gtr to Fury ecu
the plug and play wiring harness pin out diagram says: B connector, Pin 2 - injector 7 “ecu relay control” and in my ecu software injector 7 is ecu hold power
which connects to factory ecu engine harness plug Pin 16 - eccs relay

Hello
i am running a link g4+ fury in my r32 gtr,
I have issues where if u turn ignition on and then off, reds on dash stay on as it’s holding power, funny thing is if I start the car and go for a drive and turn it off then back on it won’t do it when it’s hot, only when cold...
anyways my ecu hold power is on “injector 7” channel
i have read briefly I might need a diode of some sort
if anyone can help me what needs to be done exactly would be much appreciated as always !

Thanks mate
I should be able to test it next week and I will get a log and report back...
does that mean that shifting over 5000rpm anti lag with be activating ?
I’m normally completly off the throttle while shifting but this is a good start point let’s see how it goes !
thanks
-
-
Yep I have DBW throttle on a Hypertune intake manifold
-
I understand what anti lag is and the benefits,
just wondering is this something that can be setup with trial and error without been on the dyno ?
current rev limit is 9200rpm but shifting 1st to 2nd for example I get a little bit of turbo lag between gear changes, and I’m not on boost instantly between changes
would anti lag be more beneficial or increase the rev limit (it’s built to rev to 10’000rpm - Rb26 stroked to 2.8 full house head, shimless setup Cnc porting etc etc)
any input would be much appreciated
thanks !

Yeh but it was a my old sensor from my old setup, I will try a brand new one to make sure
also I tried “run when stalled” to yes and no difference
keep you guys updated with what the final outcome is once it’s fixed
-
^^That odd issue went away
got another log and yep still drops out after a certain rpm and showing error 2
im going to have to send it back to link for repairs when lockdowns are lifted
-
ok i gave it a new power supply and now the issue is worse
check logs just idling afrs work then don't and it keeps doing that, lambda diagnostics shows it operating, then going into diagnostics mode, then heating, then operating etc
keeps displaying error 2
see log

Very odd issue
I have my o2 sensor 12v wire going to Fury Plug-A pin 5 (+14v) which it also shares with CAN 12v, electronic throttle relay 12v and obviously the o2 sensor 12v
We had my m&w cdi 12v connected to factory harness plug Pin 59 (12v+ power)
but we ditched the cdi as we had issues and now running r35 coils
i Now have that old cdi 12v cable spare I can get power from that and test again and get a log

first time using google drive, please let me know if that link to log file works for you
thanks !
tune file if needed:

Trying to attach log but having issues doing so will try again
but when lambda 1 drops out at around 5000rpm I get “lambda error 2”
shows afrs once revs drop again but still shows error
what does “lambda1 error 2” mean, what’s the problem
-
Thanks will get the tune file and a log to you over the next few days
would a lower deadband setting help ?
currently at 150rpm
-
I’m chasing an issue where my fury onboard wideband reads nothing over 4000rpm and then turns back on once Revs drop below 4000rpm
i just noticed that my CAN 14v to power the egt module and digital dash, is sharing power with the o2 sensor 14v wire
Should CAN devices have there own power source and not be shared to stop interference ?
-
Forgot about this but issue is still there, wideband cutting out over 4000rpm or so
I will get a log after the Easter holidays
thanks
-
Thanks Adam
Everything has been sorted and running well,
may I ask, is there a way to have a more stable idle instead of it jumping Around + or - 100rpm or so, or is that asking too much for a dbw and big cam setup
-
1050 seems low for this engine and cams and idle abit ruff
sometimes when it’s at 1150 it is perfectly smooth and generally more happy
what changes would need to be made to lift idle 100rpm from where it was in the software
-
Yeh will change to those settings tomorow
would a lower number in the top row mean lower idle rpm ?
-
so i did the firmware update to 5.6.7 and went for a drive, problem solved !! no more hunting idle, no more high random idle, just nice perfectly smooth gear changes and I can actualy enjoy driving the car again !
I have a log to show you (LOG8) that its all fixed, but I did before the log change Proportional Gain to 7, yesterday it was at 10 while testing, both 10 and 7 had identical results with perfect driveability today
second log (LOG9), Idle when coming to a stop is a abit low (used to be 1100ish rpm before now sometimes drops under 1000) and hunts alittle then eventualy settles
should I put all settings back to how they were originaly before we made changes ?
thanks again !!
-
Sure thing
uploading now and will test with no changes tomorow
thankyou again
