Brad Burnett
I know there are a couple threads on this site with documentation for retrofitting a 300zx plug in into a r32-34. @Adamw will definitely have the pin configuration changes needed. Drexal
Firing order is definitely different to start with, I've just finished retrofitting my RB20 with a Z32 ECU . If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I might still have the PIN comparison PDF that I did up laying around somewhere.
rrob
R34 GTT has a different connector. The 300zx ecu won't plug in.
Adamw
Yeah, as per rrob, the R34GTT is a completely different connector, although the ecu will be capable of running the engine ok, you will need to do a significant rewire to make it work, none of it is even remotely close. You are probably better to ship that ecu back to Link for a "Bottom board swap", that will effectively convert it into a direct plug-in GTT ecu. The cost to do that is a bit under NZD$300 (well it was last I heard), so it will likely work out far cheaper than chopping the loom up and re-terminating 100 odd wires.
