ZipTieTECH Posted April 21, 2020 Report Share Posted April 21, 2020 Hey guys. I’m also at done with finish building my engine harness but I have a question about My can Lambda. I have made an extension harness through my firewall Milspec connector but I’m trying to figure out what gauge wire to use. I read on Links website that the heater element is 8 amps meaning I should use 20 or 18. Where I’m confused is someone told me I can use 22 gauge wire for all 6 leads. Even Innovate uses 24 gauge on their LSU 4.9 extention. Does anyone know the gauge size they use for an LSU 4.9. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AEWON Posted April 21, 2020 Report Share Posted April 21, 2020 I personally used 18 awg (tefzel) make sure you wire it up on its own relay from Battery + not ignition, there’s quite a few noted issues in the forum about this.
