Ming
Hi i get a hard time starting the car on cold start. And once it got started idle is RPM is around 900 normally on cold start it will goes up to 1500 rpm then slowly goes to normal idle which is around 850rpm. What do i need to setup for it. Thanks DenisAlmos
Adamw
It needs to be mostly tuned first. Generally idle and cold start are the last things you tune.
vipser
Hi, i got another issue, randomly it starts up then does not start. And i cant find where is the starting Ignition table, its using ignition from Idle control. As far as i know, it must be 5-10 degree to start, but if i put those values in Idle control, engine working incorrectly, because need 14-15 degree for idling... Brad Burnett
uses the base timing table for cranking
vipser
but it must be different table for starting ? i dont want 10 deg on idle, and i need 5 deg on start.
Adamw
As Brad already said, the main ignition table is where gnition timing comes from during starting. Idle ignition control is not enabled until all idle conditions are met. You can put a column in the ignition table at 500RPM if you want different timing during cranking, then anything below 500RPM will use whatever is in the first column.
