ellisd1984
I've just done a 4 hour drive down the country and the CE light came on. As I had no laptop I had no way of reading the codes and once I turned the engine off the fault had gone. Now it looks like it was due to my EGT going of or my set range but it would be nice if the code was stored until reset, just to give me an idea where to look through the logs. Adamw
Thats how it works currently. They are permanently stored until you manually clear them. Is your CE light maybe set up to display something else other than CE? Some of our basemaps for instance it is set up to come on as an overheat and overboost warning. Vaughan
Looks like there is a bug in the current G4X release (6.18) where this isn't happening , have just fixed this and it will be in the next release.
ellisd1984
Yeah, I can confirm mine didnt store the code and just vanished when the ecu was reset. Looking at the datalog it appears it was an analoge voltage going higher than it should.
