V44 Knock Control - Compatibilty with link knockblock, knocklink

Hello!
I have a VIPEC V44 Wire In Installed and running but i have only just realized Knock Control requires an external module or add-on box of somekind.

The VIPEC Knock Amplifier Kit seems to be unavailable (if its not, I WANT ONE!!!)
https://www.vi-pec.com/other-products/knockkit

So i am investigating other external modules that can either
-Directly interface with the ECU knock control strategy
-Or one that can trigger a digital or analog input to maybe remove a set amount of timing for safety at the bare minimum.
-A flashing light on the dash would be great too, but kinda hard to remember when knock occurs on track without logging of somekind.

So i am now looking at Compatibility with Link G4 KnockBlock, or KnockLink https://dealers.au.linkecu.com/G4KNL
Or any other product that will work!
it seems the knocklink is the new version of the vipec knock amplifier but it has a very vauge description and i really cant spend that much and realize afterwards its not compatible.

If an expert on the topic has any advice that would be amazing!
Thanks for reading. hoping to get this sorted out and it will finally be ready for some track time!

Only the old Vipec knock amp or the old Link G4 Knock block can be used as the external knock interface for the V44.  Both of these products have been obsolete since ~2013.  You rarely see them come up for sale as they were quite a good standalone tuning tool too.

The G4 Knocklink is just a very basic knock warning light and has no connection to the ecu.

The G4+ Knockblock is a standalone audio based tuning tool and has no connection to the ECU.

Sooo basically this perfectly good ECU i modified my harness to fit is now a paperweight, just what i wanted to hear :(

Why are these items not sold anymore if they were in such high demand?
Can it be special ordered?
Are you able to contact all dealers and check if there is any old stock in the whole world? i dont really mind how long it takes to arrive...
Any other solution except blow 2 grand on a new ECU? :(

Thanks

Because it was superceeded with th G4+ Knockblock which is smaller, rechargable, better audio, more robust case and connectors and cheaper.  The V series ECU's were long out of production by then so there was no requirement for the ECU interface.

Link's distribution model is to dropship product direct to the customers from our warehouses, our dealers generally havent needed to carry stock.  Some keep small low cost items such as sensors and cables so they dont need to wait overnight, but mostly it comes direct from us.

Unless you have highly variable fuel octane, you can probably do just fine without knock control.
