Turbo RPM calibration

Hi guys,

turbo speed question once again. I was almost happy after FW update, but...

As help file says: calibration number=6000 x number of teeth (number of compressor blades) / Divider.

Lets take Borgwarner EFR turbo with 14 blades and borgwarner speed sensor with 8 divider. So calibration number should be 6000 x 14 / 8 = 10500, right? But software is limited to 10 000. Is there any reason for that?

If I will use 1050 calibration instead of 10500 I will get correct number except missing one zero? For example instead of 50krpm i will see 5krpm?

EDIT: calculated answer to my second question, and actually I will see one zero too much. For example, instead of 50krpm I would see 500krpm.

BTW, its G4+ Thunder.

Im not sure if there is any major limitation that prevents us from allowing a cal number larger than 10000. I will put in a request for the firmware guys to have a look at it when they are next working on G4+.
