Edmund Turner Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 HI gents, I need to confirm my understanding of the sensor ground/gournd out and shield grounds for a Link Fury G4X. As I understand the shield ground pins (A7) are also connected to Sensor ground pins (A25). When wiring crank and cam position sensors, can I combined the shield wires with the sensor ground for the crank/cam sensors and connect them to shield ground A7? As for knock sensors; can I do the same to combine the knock sensor ground and shield wires to B17? thanks in advance. Quote
Adamw Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 Yes, that is the intent. In our Link looms the trigger sensor grounds and shields are all spliced together and connected to pin A7. On the B loom, both knock grounds and shields are spliced together and connected to B17. Quote
Edmund Turner Posted October 19, 2021 Author Report Posted October 19, 2021 Thanks for this mate. Quote

Just to confirm if this is correct? Gnd Out = Sensor Ground Gnd Out is internally connected to Gnd/Shield right? So I can also connect any other sensor ground to Gnd/shield? Quote
Adamw Posted August 15, 2024 Report Posted August 15, 2024 Correct, Gnd Out and Gnd/Shield pins are sensor ground/0V. Quote
