SPARKPLUG MISFIRE FREQUENCY ISSUE

LINK MONSOON G4 ON A COSWORTH YB ENGINE WITH K20 HONDA  PENCIL COILS.

car is an escort with fresh engine, new BHP LINK  kit with  wiring harness, currently on rolling rd.

Has a misfire at 5500rpm on ngk so tried different make s/plugs, makes no difference but when champion low resistance racing plugs fitted, fault goes and revs to 7000rpm. Tried new crank sensor and new different make coils no difference, but  cold start becomes an issue with the racing plugs so cant use them for perment use but have been able to map system . Dont know if this is a frequency issue with harness or ecu itself any suggestions appreciated

Do you have any trigger errors? Does the trigger error counter increase when misfiring? If so, you should try to alter your trigger settings. I use regular, cheap NGK plugs in these engines running 0,60 mm gap. No problem with 500-600 whp running E100 as well.

I use the genuine vw cop plugs with built in igniter. I use these on many, many engines with success. No misfires.
