Andreigc8
Hi all! I just ordered G4x for Impreza 97-98 and i want to know if it is compatible with realdash. What is the best option for parameters display , android tablet with realdash or windows tablet with Pclink?
Adamw
Either will work. Realdash takes a bit more to set up, will need CAN wiring, the correct USB CAN adapter, is more difficult to set up, but is quite a bit more flexible, it can do laptiming, music, navigation, etc, as well as for example send button presses to the ecu to activate high boost or whatever. Andreigc8
Thanks Adam. Any recommendations for windows tablet? Good brands tablets do not have 2 ports,so i think the only option is a chinesse right?
Link2ThePast
You could try using a usb splitter to get the 2 ports you want for charging and the data transfer Andreigc8

Adamw
For Android your best bet is Realdash. You will need one of the realdash recommended CAN bus USB adapters. There is a realdash thread in the G4+ forum.
