noah
Hi guys wiring in my 2jz in a is200 using a altwezza link ecu..just wondering can I use a Di input for the second knock sensor as the alteZza ecu only has one on the engine and one on the pin map of the link ecu.. Vaughan
You cannot, from memory there was a way to connect a 2nd knock sensor using a resistor
koracing
The knock sensor inputs are dedicated on the plug-in so it would have to go back to link for modification I believe.
Brad Burnett
I may be incorrect, but from the last convo I had with Adam regarding this exact scenerio(2jz w/ altezza pnp), I recall him telling me to just wire both sensors to the same input pin and just adjust your gains as necessary. Hodgdon Extreme
I had a conversation with Jose @ Link on April 8, 2022 about this same topic. Here is what he said: to wire the 2 sensor to 1 inputs you just need to wire them in parallel, as simple as that so the negative of one sensor goes to the negative of the other and the signal out to the signal out then the negative of the 2 sensors goes to the sensor ground output of the ECU and the Signal goes to the Knock signal in of the ECU i strongly advice to use shielded wires
