eduard
hello everyone, I purchased Altezza Link TEXT, I'm interested in where it will be correct to install the iat sensor, so Charge Temp Correction worked correctly. As far as I understand, there are two options, the first one is next to the throttle, second on the intake manifold, which one is the best option for the accurate operation of Charge Temp Correction? The second question is which of the sensors is better to use? BMW, AEM, GM which one will be fast responding ? Thanks
Brad Burnett
In the inlet manifold tends to lend to heat soak. Typically better readings pre throttle body. Id tend to pick the AEM style sensor. eduard
Adamw
Agree the GM or AEM/Link ones give good response, both very similar. The BMW/Landrover one is slow and generally only used in NA engines. eduard
eduard
thanks for the answer, to install the sensor in front of the throttle?
