AshleyM Posted March 21, 2023 Report Share Posted March 21, 2023 Hi my tuner was trying to sort out some idle settings and for some reason my G4X doesn’t show Idle Target RPM table in open loop, but when you try to find it in closed loop it is there. It’s as if the table has been deleted in open loop settings, therefore is there an easy way to make the table come back? k4nnon Posted March 21, 2023 Report Share Posted March 21, 2023 Hey I dont believe the idle target rpm table is used when setting up open loop idle. If you would like the table to be available then it has to be set up in closed loop. Hope that helps. Both ways can achieve a good stable idle depending on how the car is acting, the closed loop strategy is a bit more in depth but can control idle a little better when set up properly.
