James West
I have made a base tune for my car however when i calibrate the TPS it still is very slow. when the engine is off, I can go flat and it will slowly raise to 100% throttle over 5-6 seconds rather than straight away. i changed tps's and still happens. Is this correct or have i got a wiring problem? Thanks
Adamw
Can you attach a short log and a copy of the tune.

DerekAE86
Sounds a awful lot like a wiring problem if you've confirmed the TPS itself is fine. You could always just get a multi-meter on the TPS pins and move it through the range of motion to confirm the resistance change is smooth and to spec. The 20v workshop manual should show which pins to probe and have the ohm range to expect. If you don't have one I can get a screenshot of that page after work today. Adamw
AN Volt 3 was showing 4.99V when you saved that map, that wouldnt be normal for a TPS. Is it wired like this:
DerekAE86
From the 4AGE 20v Manual: VC = Sensor 5v VTA = Analog Voltage/Signal IDL = Idle Switch (Ignore this one) E2 = Sensor Ground
James West
Thanks guys. I remembered i had a full blacktop loom lying around and the loom i had was different to the pinouts above and all the ones online. 2 was not connected 3 was signal. I swapped that wire in the plug and it works!
