DerekAE86
I want to use this as a crude DI for a push button switch but it doesnt appear to have an internal pull-up funciton. I assume I can wire an external pull up resistor to it - but should I use 12v or Sensor 5v? and would 1k ohm be enough? Or would it be better to switch 12v instead of GND and do away with the pull-up?
Adamw
Any of those options would be fine. You will need a pull up or a switched high signal. 1-10K would be fine for a pull-up. The "AN Volt*(status)" runtime gives you a digital hi/low status from the anvolt input.
DerekAE86
Since the analog imputs can read ohms, is there a way to read open circuit vs 0ohm to achieve the same result?
dx4picco
analog inputs don't read ohm, they read a voltage. ANTemp imput with their built in pull-up do kind of rear ohms, but still not exactly.
