taku
How do you do the wiring processing and setting the link side when controlling the electric fan with Sylvia s15?
Adamw
The AC fan is controlled by Aux 1. If you want to add an extra fan then you could use Ign 5/6/7 on the expansion connector, or whichever of Aux 5 or Inj 6 that isn't being used for the fuel pump. taku
If I want the fan to turn on when the air conditioner is turned on, can I do it with the setting on the link side?
koracing
Yes. Aux 1 is set as Engine Fan 3 in the Engine Fan output control menu and is set to turn on with AC - which is requested on input DI 1 in the base map. You can add another fan and set it to engine fan 1 or 2 and also set it to run with AC in that same control window for engine fan outputs. taku
Can it be set as an engine fan and air conditioner fan from Aux1?
Adamw
Yes, you can set Aux 1 to be any fan number you like. If you are only using Aux1/Fan1, I would also suggest setting the other unused fans to trigger at a much higher temperature so they dont trip any idle fan step when you dont expect it. taku
Thank you for making it easy to understand. How do you control the fan speed with PWM? Do you also need a corresponding electric fan?
