Powermax Engineering Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Hi, We have a customer that wishes to install a tablet in his dash to use PC Link to display the dials, and wanted to know if PC Link can be installed on an Android tablet. We have done this before with Windows XP running tablets, but were interested in checking out android instead. Thanks in advance Colin @ Powermax Engineering Quote
Scott Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Good afternoon Colin, We do not have an Android version of PCLink, only a windows based version at this stage. Regards, Scott Quote
Powermax Engineering Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 Many thanks Scott. We'll stick to the windows tablet. Cheers Colin Quote
Patrick Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Colin which version of windows tablet is compatible with using pc link software? Quote
Powermax Engineering Posted April 5, 2013 Author Report Posted April 5, 2013 Any we have used in the past were using Windows XP. That's why I was interested in finding out about the Android system, as most of the XP tablets are secondhand these days. Quote
Patrick Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 a member is developing an android app with display of parameters, hi/lo warning and datalogging not sure when it will actually release though. Obviously not full featured as pc link but will be great on the move. Quote
Scott Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Here is the link to the thread about what Patrick mentioned. http://www.linkecu.com/forums/G4Forum/632110636 Quote

Phil Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 Was there a solution to this query?dont want to start a new thread but im running g4+ storm and looking to display incar on a tablet or similar.Phil Quote
Simon Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Hi PhilOn the G4+ its easier as you can use the OBD output from the ECU or if you want can also run PClink on a windows tablet with a page set up as a gauge type display. Quote
