checkmyfitment
Hello everybody, I recently wired in my IAT using the expansion harness. The original MAF pinout wouldn’t give me a reading so I used the expansion loom. I was able to use Temp 2 and the Ground but the reading is way to high 118-120. Was wondering if my values are correct or not. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Adamw
What sensor do you have?
checkmyfitment
The sensor is the Link IAT1-
koracing
What do you read on the runtime with the sensor unplugged? Hit F12 and go to analog inputs - unplugged Temp 2 should be close to 5v.

koracing
Yeah it seems like it could be faulty or the ecu's internal pullup is faulty. What is the ambient air temp when you're getting this reading? FYI the Link and AEM IAT sensors that are 1/8 npt use the same calibration. I’ll order a new sensor and report back, thank you for your assistance!
Adamw
You can measure the resistance of the sensor at room temp to confirm if it is ok or not. They should be about 3500Ohm at room temp ~20°C
