Dawkinater Posted January 6 Report Share Posted January 6 My question arises because I have been having great difficulty connecting the ECU to my laptop via the serial link box (PC running PCLink V2.5). Is this ECU actually one of the Flyin' Miata ones? The orange sticker says "OS 025". The lettering on the back is "LINK MX597B" Forgive me if this is a repeat question but I can't find a forum post explaining how to determine the difference. Was the Flyin' Miata one a piggyback? It will work with the Link hand controller but not PC Link software as far as I know, flying Miata had their own software suite called "Datalog Lab". I can't get my code scanner to recognize it's plugged into the car either. Or is that likely an independent electrical wiring issue?
