Mark Tillmans
Trigger set up and wiring ? HELP !
Scott
Hi Mark, Is this running the 3SGE engine? If yes normally the triggers would be taken from the distributor. Trigger 1 would look at the 24 tooth disc and trigger 2 would look at the 1x pulse. You would use the Multi-tooth trigger mode in the ECU and set the cam 2 sync to cam pulse 1x. If you look in PCLink help under Wiring Information > Input Signal Wiring > Trigger Inputs > Specific Trigger Applications > Toyota 24 Tooth you will find a diagram that shows the connector and which pins to use. Hopefully this matches your setup. Scott
Mark Tillmans
I am running a 5S FE motor, I have wired successfully I think as the spark test functions. when I rotate distributor my spark is random and sporatic and have yet to achieve any type of injector pulse.  Next step ?
Simon
Make sure the speed you are turning the distributor is nice and stable. Preference would be to spin it with a drill. Most common issue is arming voltages that are too high. Generally if you have spark there will be injection.
