Ethrottle module on Subaru DBW

Hi all

I am wiring in a G4 Extreme on my Subaru and need help on wiring the Ethrottle module to drive the DBW throttle.

From what I understand,  the OEM DBW setup has dual TPS on the throttle body to provide a failsafe. 

How should I be wiring the ethrottle module?

Hi Dennis,

Have a look at PCLink Help > Wiring Information > Output Wiring > E-throttle

There is a generic e-throttle wiring diagram there. Depending on whether you have a Silver or Red Xtreme will determine if you need an external E-throttle module.

I have the Silver G4, so I know I will need the E throttle module.

I need to know which wires to tap on the OEM harness

Oops, typed too fast.  I actually have the Red Extreme.

How does that change things for the Subaru. It's the 08 hatchback model.

Do you have both intake and exhaust vvt?

If so it will be an issue as the Xtreme can only handle two cams variable with E throttle.
