Simon Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 To run the two coil configuration. You will need to modify you triggers. To be a 24 tooth for trigger 1 and a single tooth for trigger 2. With the existing 4 teeth each being at a TDC point we have no way to work out where in the cycle the engine is. Quote
Scott Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 Unfortunately I don't have a base-map for a 4age, but if you reply with your one we can have a look and see if we can identify any problems. Scott Quote
sasha Posted January 22, 2014 Author Report Posted January 22, 2014 Thanks Scott Here is my map Quote
Simon Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Looking at that map you have you sync mode set to crank x1 this should be cam x1 Quote
sasha Posted January 25, 2014 Author Report Posted January 25, 2014 Hi Scott. I think I got you wrong.  When you sad you can not run 24/4 setup did you mean cut off 3 tooth to make it 1 or you just mean to change a setup in the programme?  Sorry I completely confused. Quote
Simon Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 Yes you will need to have 3 teeth removed from the distributor. Quote
sasha Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 Hi Simon. That exactly what i've done. there is another problem i was trying to start the car with base map and some setup give no result. i have load up a map from atom it start but the tps is not working. i gess the problem is a trigger setup. do you have any extra info about that? thanks Quote
Simon Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 You will need to make sure all the basics are set correctly. Make sure inputs and out puts are configured to match how the unit has been wired. TPS calibration will need to be done and base timing set before attempting to start the engine. Check all inputs are reading correctly such as IAT, ECT and MAP Quote
